A little preface to this next project. I designed all of these next pieces for my own wedding. I had a blast working along side my wife creating something that shared our creative ideas and expressions. Enjoy!
Save the Date
Here is the front of the Save the Date we sent out months before the big day! The sage and tangerine colors were a big part of our wedding decor. I love the pop of color the tangerine gives to the soothing greens and tans used. My wife really loved the characters I illustrated for us!
Here is the backside of the Save the Date. I designed it so it could be used as a postcard. We simply wrote in the intended recipients information on the right hand side and mailed it to them as is. It was simple yet kept our creative feel.
Wedding RSVP
As you can see, the RSVP followed the same creative style as the Save the Dates did. I had a fun time challenging myself to keep things simple and to use the same color palette as before. I'm very happy with how they turned out.
This is the backside of the RSVP. This card was mailed in an envelope along with the official invitation so that the recipiant could mail it back to us with their information filled out. The space on the righthand side was left open so that we could use a personalized stamp with our address on it for easier return. We had a lot of fun song requests from this!
The Invitation
Here is the official Invitation! I love how this turned out! There was a lot of important information that needed to be on this small, postcard sized, piece of paper. I believe I handed the placement and design of all of the texts and illustrations well. I really like how I was able to tie in the tangerine and sage from the Save the Date.
