The UX manual demonstrates an understanding of user experience [UX] design and user centered design process, and demonstrates the effective use of inter-disciplinary design and re-search skills.
Design and management methods were used to take desicions that improve the experience of users with headphones. A concept of improved headphone experience was proposed, with written and visual design concept prototype.
In this brochure, images of users wearing fashionable technology in the UAE were collected, and analysis of the data was created. A user experience problem was identified in the interaction of users with headphones, and a unique solution was later introduced.
Two personas were created as fictional characters to represent the different user types that might use the final solution of headphones in a similar way.
A design brief was produced in which it defines the design project and the deliverables that lead to the final solution.
A user experience map was created to show the different touchpoints that the user has with the product.
Two user journeys were created in which it represents a series of steps to define the task journey of users to interact with the product.
Two research methods were selected to gather and analyze data about the user experience and to obtain conclusions that assist on improving the user experience.
Diary studies was chosen as a research method to understand the context of headphones/music experience of 3 users over the course of 5 days, and to highlight the different purposes of using headphones.
User picture interviews was chosen as a research method to understand the headphone/music experience of 3 users, and to highlight the benefits/issues of using headphones to listen to music.
A simple wireless earbuds, package and App prototype was produced as a tangible outcome that reflects the solution of improving the headphone user experience.
