Over the final month of the 2016 NBA Season I used the games as an opportunity to try out some new concepts and techniques I had been thinking of. This was the result.
This was the first design in my series, and was designed to work in static image, GIF, or Vine/mp4 form. It was retweeted by the NBA's Twitter account, received over 50,000 loops in 2 days, and had over 175,000 impressions on Twitter.

Next was a series of score graphics from each series.
I wanted to push myself as a designer given strict time restraints. I put 15 minutes on a timer to see what I could come up with. I was surprised with how far I got, and screen recorded to process as proof. The added process of the screen recording caused a computer freeze for a while, and I paused the timer while waiting. As the finals approached, I had another a crazy design in my head but knew I would need some different software to make it happen. Many hours spent in Cinema 4d later, here are some un-textured screen shots as well as the final rendering. This was Quote Tweeted by the NBA and had over 10,000 media impressions on Twitter.
