“Meanwhile”came to life after a three-month workshop organized by KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation in its Adolescent-Friendly Space in the Bekaa, targeting adolescent boys coming from Syria.

The workshop included photography and theater sessions that aimed at improving the young artists’ ability to express themselves and reflect their perceptions on discrimination and gender-based violence practices.

"life stuns us with short periods of times and their impact on us.
In my opinion, one of the proudest feelings is when things go unexpectedly and progression is felt on both ends. That’s what occurred by the end of the workshop.
The build-up from learning to becoming friends made us all greater human beings."

These are some of the boys that attended the photography workshop with passion, These boys made me proud.
The photographs they took were seen, the dedication they put was acknowledged, the least that can be done is for their faces to be seen and recognized.
