The basis of the construction of illustrations is formed by triangle shape. I chose this shape according to wy own associations, which inspired me the stories of the author. Triangle is a powerful symbol, which allows to attract the attention of the viewer and make him go into action. In this case, to reflect on the stories and their meaning. For a long time known that equilateral triangle symbolizes the male principle, inverted - a female. The same solution is applied in the color that will be described below.

Color illustrations and overall design of the book is only two colors: black and magenta. In symbolic black is the color of mystery. It is the most authoritarian of the total spectrum. It can lead a person to aggressiveness. It gives a sense of weight and depth. Instead, magenta, is hot pink, is energetic, and very relaxing in the same time. It produces in us a desire to escape from the clutches of a demanding world and to avoid problems. So magenta suppress the seriousness of black. So thats why black is male and magenta is female. All black passivity is active by magenta. These two colors in pair, and even in combination with white or light gray, as graphic method stay for long remain in memory. So, colors I have chosen are on the verge of mystery and openness, passivity and activity, which, in my opinion, successfully highlights the essence of stories.
