While working with a gifted group of senior citizens on art, I noticed some would be quite messy with paint. I wanted to make something for them that would encourage them to keep making art after my teaching period was finished, while also making art making easier and less messy. These aprons are hand dyed and sewed from leftover canvas scraps from my painting class. It finishes and starts a loop of the art making process. Each apron is customized to each artist's favorite color, hobbies, art styles, or just their name.
