Aurora Denim Co. - Fall 2010
This old postcard scan served as the inspiration for the denim line's color selection.
The physical version of this board features these swatches which are attached to the board with velcro dots so each swatch can be pulled off the board for feel and color matching purposes.  Each swatch was scanned and used as a pattern fill in Illustrator for the denim drawings below.  The color names on the denim jeans drawings match the corresponding swatches above.  The description below the color names indicate what sort of dying treatment I did to achieve the swatch colors.
The physical version of this board featured real zippers.  The denim piece was cut from an old pair of jeans and glued onto the board as a means of having something to attach the tags to.
This style is featured in the charity campaign ad below for the American Lung Association.
The jeans featured in this ad campaign were originally Hudson Jeans that were photoshopped to have the same stitching and details as the Aurora Denim Co. "Pearl" flat drawings seen in the images directly above this one.

Pearl is also the official color of lung cancer awareness.  Aurora Denim Co. was named after my mother, who lost her battle with lung cancer in July 2009.
Part of the requirements for this project was to develop some sort of mobile campaign for our line.  I created a mock-up of what an Android/iPhone app might look like for Aurora Denim Co.
