One of two Weldon Owen Small Series books I'have done in 2011:" BUG LIFE".
The clients asked me to do not a simple scientific art book about bugs, but to immerge myself in a garden, among the leaves, or behind a flower petal as I was an insect too. Although it is a book for a very low age kids, they choosen a realistic style. So I decided to give it a sort of fluffy feeling, using soft pastel colours, and blurred watercolour layers.
