Visual Research Project - Synesthesia

Synesthesia
When I was younger I always wondered why I found guitar playing so easy, compared with my friends who really worked hard but still found it really difficult. For me, colours was my way of learning, each note had a different colour. That is the reason why I chose this subject for my Visual Comunication. I interviewed four musicans with different nationalities who played different kinds of string instruments to see if they had any thoughts to what this really was. How can we separate synesthesia from associations? I wanted to find out if this only occured with creative people, or if this was just something that happened to people in general.

Since the book is focused on string playing souls...
And the book is bound with a D string ...
It was natural for me to make a cigar case guitar to go with the project! (Its second function is to hold the tiny posters with illustrated songs from different persons I've interviewed.)
Great thanks to Claudio Forlini, Hanno Kiehl, Stine Wingsternes, Anders Skage Thinn, Margrethe Rasmussen and Chris Venables!
