In my Visual Communication Research Unit I have designed a book about Pop Art.
I have researched the period and different pop art artists, like Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Peter Blake, and two artist who are not quite as famous: Hariton Pushwagner and Mario Wagner, the latter I have also interviewed. Since the Pop Art period got their inspiration from the dadaists, I have also been inspired by it. You can see this in my use of images and composition, but the use of colours is all Pop Art, I have also been inspired by the Pop Art artist, like Roy Lichtensteins use of Ben-Day dots and Andy Warhols use of colorful boxes/squares.

I have used mixed media, where I have screenprinted the most of the pictures and backgrounds, the rest is done digital.
