"I Am Amaryllis" is about worth beyond beauty. 

The Amaryllis flower itself means "worth beyond beauty" and I wanted to concentrate on this concept throughout the piece. I put the two Amaryllis (Amarylli?) over where the nipples would be to reference sexuality and the ambiguity of sexuality, where nipples seem to be such a heavy aspect of this in society. Though this may lead you to believe that this figure is a woman, I hope the audience won't be confined to this thought but instead be much more thoughtful and open to a less restrictive definition. 

Beyond this, I continued to use the watercolors to create this "beautiful" artwork, that I even showcased on my Instagram, to then (in a way) "ruin" it with black ink and committing a kind of graffiti over the 'beauty" making it ugly for some, but this emphasizes the real 'worth' that many people have that may look like imperfections, when in reality they are still beautiful and being true to themselves; thus the use of the daisies, which mean "loyalty."
