Cardboard Packaging: Phone

2011
Substainability is an issuse of discussion in design. Recycling or using biodigradable materials would help the production and when the product comes to its end of life. I have chosencardboard as my materials. Cardboard usually comes in boxes for package productfor transportation. It is disposable in the way that it has no value of useafter it has been travelled to its destination. Cardboard has a low valuedimpression and seems to be forgotten for its strong and protective properties. Therefore, I wanted to use cardboard as a material to improve its aestheticsand reevaluate the quality.
Formy design for phone packaging, it is not recycling cardboard but reusingcardboard that has already been used. It is almost like giving it a secondlife. The packaging is designed to look like a book which can improve the wayto store it. The way it is designed takes user to a journey, the instruction tolearn how to use the phone. The idea is to provide an experiment, take a longertime to actually adsorb something from it.
