Hiking in Bavaria: Zugspitze
Images from my recent hike to Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany at 2962m. I'm an avid hiker and I love spending time outdoors and this trip was on my goal list for a while now. As all of my hiking projects here on Behance, this was firstly a hiking trip, not a special photography trip and with 17km in length and around 2000m in ascent on a hot sunny day this one was especially demanding. To save on weight I've only carried one lens with me (35mm) and these images are shot during the day. Though normally shooting during the midday is not the best option, but in this case, I found the play between bright sunlight & dark shadows from the clouds visually appealing.
