Based on the trilogy's absurdism, the design for the book covers is a whimsical journey through space, following the experiences of the main character, Arthur Dent. Arthur’s journey through space seems never ending, so the book covers are all similar in nature, but incorporate the different random objects that come from Arthur’s odd experiences in space.
