Elemental Djinn (NeonMob series)

This set of GIFs were made for NeonMob.com. The characters are elemental djinn who embody both a physical aspect of the world and a psychological aspect of the human mind.
Solitude
Djinn of the barren sands, Solitude wanders alone through the deserts of the world.

Also known as The Lonely Djinn, it is unclear why he wears cloth of human origin. He is known to be the only djinn to wear human-made clothing. Some think that it was a gift from a lone wanderer like himself, while others believe that he stole it to bring himself some small comfort. Perhaps this garment is why the others of his kind shun him, or perhaps it is he who avoids them because that is his nature.
Determination
Djinn of the crashing ocean, Determination is at the root of every unstoppable force.

As is the case with people, the more of her element Determination gathers to her, the stronger her effect on the world around her. She represents change in both the catastrophic and the gradual scale, as a massive tidal wave can destroy people and cities and as the tide erodes stones into sand. Even on the personal level, Determination builds power and momentum as resources are gathered behind a single lead.
Trust
Djinn of the woven threads, these djinn are rare both as "refined elements" and as two djinn with the same element.

The clothes that the twins wear are their element and represent their faith in both people and other djinn. A philosopher once said of them, "It is appropriate that they are of two bodies, since trust is a bond between people. So while the other djinn represent personal qualities that any one person may possess, it requires two to trust." Many people also claim that cloth is a fitting element for them, since it can be resilient but can also be broken easily.
