A logo I did for my local baseball league. Baron the mascot is inspired by WWII bomber plane art and the typography is an homage to GI Joe. 

It was difficult to create something that felt "military" without all the army tropes (olive drab, stencil lettering, etc.) and could also evoke the feeling of a professional sports team. The decision to go with a GI Joe-inspired logo came about from a need to introduce vibrant color in order to balance the mascot's relatively drab palette.
