CurePSP is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving as the primary source for research, support and awareness around PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy)—a devastating form of brain disease. Researches believe that understanding PSP can potentially lead to unlocking a cure for many other nerve cell diseases including ALS, Alzeheimers’s and Parkinson’s. CSA was tasked with the challenge of helping them bring clarity to all of their communications — a combination of education, outreach and awareness. Progressive Supranuclear Palsy is about as difficult to say as it is to explain, its also a depressing and scary topic. We started by developing a visual brand identity system capable of being translated across a broad range of communications. We wanted to make all touch points informative, clear, and optimistic and did so by employing a bright and modern color palette, a friendly and straight-forward typographic system, and thought-provoking illustrations and information visualizations that are approachable and engaging.
