Unother Beauty line is an imaginary line of beauty products for Black women. The products alleviate the internal stress caused daily racism and sexism. At other stores, the makeup is too light and the advertisements are really white. Unother Beauty is care that is unapologetically black. The imagery has been repurposed from Afrocentric media, publications like Ebony, Hype Hair, and Jet magazines. The work explores ideas of beauty, self-care, Afrocentrism, and resisting Eurocentric beauty standards.
