There was a lot of learning happening in this project. I created a how to video with the help of my sons. 1st lesson learned is that children will get bored and there needs to be some kind of bribery involved. The video was my first attempt at recording and editing video. 2nd lesson learned editing video is a time consuming process, time goes by really fast. It really helped to have a storyboard created beforehand. It took us three attempts at making the final version of the video, we ate a lot of cornbread for 2 weeks.
Final Video
The first in what could be an online series of videos for cooking with kids. Trying to juggle a household and dinner isn't always easy especially when the young ones are hungry and they just finished with sports or other after school activities. I have found it helps to keep them distracted, and what better distraction than to have them help making dinner.
Title Scene
I wanted to have a title and title scene that would make it easy to add more videos and have the option to make it onto a series if the opportunity arose.
