Metal Casting: Wine glass holder

This project was aimed at exploring the craft of metal casting, specifically Sand metal casting. Taking the inspiration from an insect wing, I started to explore the organic forms formed by the connections within the wings. Using the casting techniques to its limit was one of my aims. To enhance the form and the material, I used light.

The pattern for making mold. Material- white mseal and binding wire.
