For the final proposed design, and after careful consideration from the Recreation Authority, I made some final tweaks to the secondary design, for a much more clean cut and easy to read look. However in the end, the Recreation Authority decided not to go with this logo, as they were looking for something a bit different than mentioned.
For the secondary logo design, I went ahead with a very modern and unique look, that outlined a greater look at the different sports and activities expected to be supported by the Community Center and Recreation Authority.
For the initial rough design, I went with a more traditional, but modern looking approach, as an adaption of the "seal of approval" to create a broader use for the logo across multiple cities and townships; specifically Slatingtion, Walnutport, and Washington Township.
