For the 2013 To The Point calendar, I explored ways to make your own luck. I collaborated with Mark Bolitho (Chairman of the British Origami Society) who produced a beautifully hand-crafted animal for every month of the year, that each represented luck in different cultures. It is said in Japanese culture that folding 1,000 cranes will bless you with eternal luck. We featured the iconic crane in January and included folding instructions for any budding origami artists that wanted to have a go at making their own luck.
