This neckpiece is based on the oil spills and their catastrophic impact on the ecological system. It shows how sea life is trapped under the petrol. The seven iridescent colours depict the colours that the petrol creates once the oil spreads on the sea. This project discusses the interconnectivity between humankind and nature and the way individuals devitalize the structure of the natural balance through their actions.
