The Only One
A Polypropylene Maquette from Eddie Roberts Sculpture
This maquette was made from 2 scrap pieces of sheet steel, cut, folded, creased in a free expression as and when the moment hits me. I sometimes sketch a particular idea I want to translate, however mainly it is 'in the moment'. This is the sheet stell maquette for the sculpture names as THE ONLY ONE. This will then be made from Corten steel to whatever dimensions the buyer specifies. The process is to laser cut the shape from flat sheet metal and use a compressor and folder to add seams and shape to the final piece. The whole process will take several days. This can also be made in large form of polypropylene.
