On this project I used the shape builder tool along with a ellipse tool to create a monogram with my initials at the center.

This monograms were made following steps online and it was relatively easy to make simply because it's a shape  with your initials in it. The color swatches came from colourlovers.com, it was convenient that there were many swatches to choose from.
