A Snake in the Shape of a Face
This is a straightforward project that pretty much explains itself. This particular piece was actually part of a three-part assignment that included three different approaches to one subject. This "metamorphic" version of a snake accompanies a 3D Ceramic model of a snake and a traditional pencil drawing of a snake. It started as a pencil drawing, which I scanned into Photoshop to add color and more texture. I really enjoy how this one turned out because of the textures, colors and overall composition. The ceramic version is below; unfortunately I do not have a digital copy of the drawing.
