This design challenge was a study of icon, index, and symbol. I deconstructed a household item, medicine, into its simplest form, without reaching ambiguity. This icon was then exaggerated with a series of "action verbs." Next, indexical forms that relied on and hinted towards the original icon were imagined. Finally, symbols that represented functions of medicine were created. All of the designs were unified through composition and form. This was a Graphic Design project for GD126 and the project reflection and guidelines are attached below.
