We spent three days in the mountains. The first white gold of the season had fallen, harkening back to the blustery winters of yesteryear. A hodge-podge of photography enthusiasts bonded together by a love of adventure, we practiced our eye at seeing the world through different lenses, hiked in the snow, and feasted. Finally, on the last night, our enthusiasm paid off when the Nothern Lights made a surprise appearance. With only one shot left on my dying battery, I captured the legendary moment. All in all, it was a weekend of legendary proportions.
