Promotion was the goal of this assignment. Given various content and images I wanted to design a poster that would grab the viewer's attention and peak their interest in attending the lecture. 

The subject of Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy Valley and the decommissioning of O'Shaughnessy Dam have been a hot topic for many years. The restoration Hetch Hetchy Valley is the focal point which is why the words 'Hetch Hetchy' appear large, at the forefront of the poster. The grid layout is designed to cradle the valley and provide the rushing water a contained area to disperse.
