One of my early ideas for cuff links. Took a while to move from my Moleskine notebook to reality but they did finally make it. They have no moving parts - they just push through the button hole and then push out again when ready to remove them. The ends are large enough that they stay put until you push them back through the hole. The original "model" was carved in wax and then lost-wax cast in sterling silver. The inlays are macassar ebony on one end and 5000 year old fossil walrus ivory on the other. They are reversible, in that they can be worn with either end out.
