Barlow Grants Wish
Barlow Grant returns home from the war struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and recovering from an injury. He’s alone, living on the street struggling with a normal existence after his life was turned upside down.
The universe attempts to redirect the fate of this inglorious hero by bestowing upon him a mysterious gift which gives him the power to grant a single wish for those who show him kindness— even though he is unaware that he has this gift.
Barlow's destiny becomes intertwined with two special forces officers who return home unexpectedly after a mission goes tragically awry in Afghanistan. Major Dax Russell has returned home and finds himself unprepared to greet his family so soon after the death of his closest friend Captain Trevor Sims who was killed during their last mission. Dax is struggling with his emotions over recent events and realizes the need to decompress before entering his civilian / family life. After seeing Barlow in a busy intersection, Dax recognizes him from the strange dreams he's been having since his return.
