U.S. Wildfire Tracker
An interactive tool to track fires that are currently burning in the U.S.
I was responsible for the original look and user experience design but did not build the final product.
Original Photoshop Designs:
Users can switch between 2 different views: a satellite base map, or a stylized black map. They can also toggle the smoke feature on and off. Upon initial load there is a view of the United States and the slide out tray contains national stats
Users can then zoom and hover or click on a fire for more info. Once they click the slide out tray on the right will update to show state statistics rather than national.
