We got given a project where we had to come up with a design that related to sheffield to go on a elephant template. Mine was based upon the Sheffield city centre map so the red parts were buildings and the roads were the black lines however the patterns were just to make it more appealing. They could of done with being a different colour to the roads so there was more a significant difference between the two.

Our designs were entered into a competition called the 'Herd of Sheffield' this was a charity fundraising event where the money would go to the Children's Hospital Charity. My design got picked and they asked if I could create and Illustrator file of the design and also change the colours so the roads could be recognised against everything else.

Following on from this I was then given the task to put this design onto a 3D sculpture which can be seen completed below. For 2 months each elephant that was designed (58 in total) were placed in a different place of Sheffield to create a trail that people had to go find all the Elephants. Mine was situated in Fitzalan Square outside my university building.
