Photoshop assignment bundle
Below is a collection of in class assignments to help familiarize myself with the tools available in Adobe Photoshop.
Assignment 1: Lion
this was my first time ever using Photoshop, so everything i did was a very new learning experience. used a variety of different cropping methods at first to experiment, mostly lasso and magnetic lasso tool to crop out the lion. This end result was made using a clipping mask and 2 seperate layers from the lions original image, and the image of the play ground.
Assignment 2: Photo restoration
In this assignment we were asked to find an old photo to restore it using Adobe Photoshop. I Removed the scratches and bend marks with the spot healing brush and the patch tool. and ended with cropping out a rectangular fram to get rid of the background image.
Assignment 3: Photoshop sketch
In this assignment we were asked to make a perspective sketch using a hallway in our school. the project was completed on Adobe Photoshop Sketch App, using an Ipad and stylus. First I used the Ipad to take a picture of this hallway and set it as a transparent background layer, I then traced the image in black on one layer and added the rest of the colours on layers below. Experimenting with different brush strokes i managed to play with many different textures in this illustration. My favorite being the paint brush stroke look in the "design" lettering. instead of adding the realistic roof and floor i tried to create the look of sky and grass using different colors and overlapping stokes.
