Fast passed urbangrowth is creating a thread to cities with historic neighborhoods. Non-friendlytransportation projects have cut through the historic urban texture and ignoredthe social and artistic values that they hold within. This project is a combination of urban mobility, streetimprovement, community development, and place making. The goal was to revitalizethe existing historic neighborhoods shattered into smaller sections due todevelopment of a city arterial. In order to recreate the lost socialinteraction several design criteria were implemented.
