I was recently hired by a client and friend to do a conceptual project that was originally inspired by the Coppertone Girl from the 50's/60's. The idea was to meld together a pin-up look with the Coppertone Girl and then add a twist. I suggested that instead of a dog, a zombie should be pursuing our fair lady. The client agreed and flew up to Maine to shoot on our beautiful shores. It was a long (and humorous) day of shooting and the client was delighted with the results. I think this may be the first beach zombie ever. I describe this look as The Birds + Beach Blanket Bingo + Night of the Living Dead all in AMAZING! VIBRANT! Technicolor!
