Themain aim of this project was creating a package for a three differenttypes of sweets, considering their own shape of folding of individualpackage. I think that main learning out come was work in severalfields at the same time: logotype, form, illustration, graphics onwrappers. The hardest part of project was cooping with all this tasksand mini-deadlines inside the project.Wegot a lot of starting points in this project " pre-revolutionalculture, animals and nature imagery, shape on individual package.First I was consider of creating something Russian " because owrsweet will be a new product representing Russia. I tried to startwith traditional national symbols as hohloma and gzhel (these arenational pattern of our country). Then I thought of some object thatcan be symbols but doesn't look so traditional " like carpets onwalls. At the same time I was exploring vector and pixel art to makemy package look modern and sophisticated. Themain idea started with a play around shape. I loves how sweet shapethat was so obvious can be transformed to something new hig-htechlooking. This shape dictated the main style of a package " sharplines, futuristic looking materials, typefaces and all details. HereI got three main issues " size, material and actual coverage of apackage surface with graphics. Probably, the most difficult wassetting all this elements together and decision making " there wasso many variants of solution. Lastdays of project I just changed some details and came to more warm andtouchy package that I'm happy with.
