Every year, my wife asks me and the boys to come up with a suitable Christmas card to send out. And, every year, we try to top what we did last year.
This year, we decided to continue the Rocketboy and Gears theme, which is loosely based on the Hardy Boys mysteries I read as a boy.
While the Christmas cards have always had a strong digital composite element, this year marks our first using a 3d rendered set. It was accomplished in Photoshop and provided a lot of opportunities for learning and applying new skills.
As always, it also provided an awesome opportunity to hang with my boys and get creative!
