Stock Market Challenge
My stocks
During the stock market challenge we got to pick 5 USA business and also 5 Canadian business. The USA stocks that I bought include, Imax, Apple, Walt Disney, Facebook and The Dow Industrials Diamonds. The Canadian Stocks that I bought include, Canadian Natural Resources, Canadian Pacific, Toronto Dominion Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Picking Stocks
Picking US stocks were quite easy due to the fact that, most US businesses are well known and are easy to find out how well the company is doing. Picking Canadian stocks was difficult due to the fact that finding Canadian business are hard and finding Canadian Business that are doing quite well is even harder. How I pick my stocks was by three ways. The first way I picked my stocks would be if I knew the business. The second way was by seeing how well the business was doing (if it was gaining or losing money). The third way was by looking on google finance and seeing the quotes and reports on that business (basically looking at the information on how well the business was doing in past years today).

Gaining and Losing
If you look at the picture above, you well see that half of my stocks are doing well while the other half is not doing the best. Mostly my Canadian business stocks are losing around $0.50- $2.00 While my US stocks are doing quite well gaining around $0.80-$2.00. The two Canadians businesses that my stocks are not doing well in are Canadian Natural Resources and Canadian Imperial Bank of CommerceThe one US stock that I’m losing pretty bad in is IMAX, which I’m losing about $5.00 in. There’s always pros and cons in buying stocks it’s a chance type of game. You win some you lose some. During this stock challenge you gain money and sometimes you lose money, but in the end you just have to be cautious on where and what business you buy stocks in
