The assignment was to create a "How To" brochure for a charitable organization of our choice. We were to give at least 5 steps to the "How To" process as well as develop the color scheme, layout, typography, and create a set of icons for the project. We were also instructed to put particular attention on how the brochure would be displayed. In addition to these tasks, we were to amend our design based upon class critique and the art direction of our professor. 

I chose to design a tri-fold brochure for the ASPCA and created a process of "How to Adopt a Dog - In Five Easy Steps". Though most people know the basics of how to adopt a dog, the goal of my brochure was to promote the ASPCA's helpful website for seeking the location of rescues as well as provide information to potential dog owners on what factors are important when choosing a new canine family member.

What follows is, my creative process and how the project evolved after receiving constructive criticism and art direction.
