2016 Thesis Project - Visual Development/Character Design
In the 2016 semester of my senior year, I decided to produce a semester long thesis project that revolved around character design. In this project, I worked on creating 5 characters with detailed, in depth frames and images like: turnarounds, facial expressions, fashion line up, extra poses, GIFs, items, and concept art for their studies or rooms.
These characters interact within the same world that is described as a modern day world with magic. In this story, the 5 characters are witches all with individual specialties on certain types of magic or domains. Their adventures revolve around the time when the characters leave home to study and practice their magic. The main character, Altair, is the main character of this story who moves to a new town that is filled with witches, whom she seeks out to help her learn more domains. During this journey, she comes across the 4 other characters who either help or hinder her goal to learn all the magical domains.
