"Names can be very misleading, especially when it comes to kitchen equipment. With that in mind, we at MasterChef have come up with these puzzles, showing what a kitchen-newbie might imagine when they first hear the names of five popular pieces of cookware."
On my first week as an Illustrator/Graphic Designer at Tauntr Media, we created this series of content for MasterChef to tie in with an episode where the contestants competed in a cookware challenge. I designed and executed the visual style of these illustrations based on concepts generated collectively by the creative team at Tauntr.

Process Sketches
I sketched out ideas in Illustrator and refined the style as the project evolved over the course of two to three days. I originally erred towards something a little more rubbery and cartoonish, but developed it to add sophistication with sharp angles and repetitive curves.
