Young Gryffindor

The theme's description was as follows:
''Harry Potter is a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards, and possesses unique magical powers of his own. Harry is summoned from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, an old academy hidden in Scotland. There, he meets several friends, who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents' mysterious deaths....''

That month's theme is a fan-art month for the amazing Harry Potter Universe.
So, my choice was Godric Gryffindor: The Famous co-founder of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.

I wanted to include all his famous elements: his sword, hat (later "Sorting Hat"), and lion symbol (or "Patronus" here). I thought that including all these elements should be with a younger version of the wizard; who was given a treatment of a superhero from a comic book. The treatment is shown in the lines, motion, pose and action.

Young Godric Gryffindor was a famous wizard, not only for his mastery of duellism against both wizards & muggles (simultaneously), but for his "courage, determination & strength of heart"; the traits that would be defined by mentioning his last name.
