I created this site in Keetra Dean Dixon's amazing studio class during my first year of MICA's Graphic Design MFA. Using a variety of different provided materials students were asked to create imagery that we then "stole" from one another. I "stole" images from classmates working with sugar (Brian Pelsoh's Marshmallows + Nikki Dlugash's gummy bears + Young Sun Compton's Frosting). I distorted their images to create hearts, then developed some interactive typography in flash that reflected each material.
We were asked to make what we "stole" into gifts that we would then return our collaborators. So I created a mix of songs related to the theme of sweetness, and sent them a combined digital THANK YOU.
