IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROBLEM:

Through using the Tangle Teezer brush on an every day basis, I have found out that the main problem of this product is the lack of the handle and the overall  shape of the hair brush. It is evident that the ergonomic aspect has not been well addressed in the designing stage of the product.  This makes the hair brush quite uncomfortable to use, and due to the lack of the handle makes it harder to grip when using it.

DESIGN BRIEF:

To design an ergonomic handle that possibly could be removed or folded to make the overall size of it smaller. I aim to do that so the hair brush can be portable and can fit into small purses and can be used to help style your hair. Apart from the handle I could also focus on re designing the shape of the main body of the hair brush as I have found out that it is not well designed and is uncomfortable to hold.
