It can be seen here how the sticker is clearly more elaborate and significantly more work and thought has been put into it. Considering the theme of "the Face" I needed to stick to the tribal and ancient style. I wanted to make it look like some sort of ancient sun dial or clock. I put my alias on the edge and the sides in a radial fashion.

This final result turned out to be very repetitive but somehow still visually appealing imo. The radial nature of the elements on "the Face" are very well complemented by the radial composition of the text.

All in all it is a very simple design with considerable amounts of negative space.
For this alternate "the Face" sticker I was shooting for something darker. The differences in elements are very notable.

I also felt that the first sticker was too empty, too much negative space. This was easily fixed by adding more elements to the piece. Even more text seems to add to the dark feel. The text is a Bible verse that I remember hearing in a video game. I found the message appropriate because of the darker nature of "the Face" this time around.

 Ecclesiastes 1:17 - 18
I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind.
For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;and he who increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow.

Another aspect not discussed yet is the decision to use Symbols in lieu of standard letters. These symbols in combination with the font give it an even more ancient and cryptic mysterious aura. The name of the font is High Tower Text. I have use this font multiple times after this in other projects.
This project was something I started when I was very young. My freshman year of College I started drawing eyes and strangely tribal faces. The most refined example of said faces can be seen in the first picture.

I then made a very crude digital version in Photoshop when I didn't know how to use Illustrator. Then had it made into sticker.

Eventually I revisited the project a few years later and refined it considerably. I drew another face and made a much better quality vector.
