Dance Dance Dance (1988) is a novel by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. The cover illustration tries to  provide a cultural and historical context to the book by taking inspiration on 80s Japanese poster designs and using the Seigaiha Pattern, a  traditional symbol of good luck here displaying a misfortunate event, the essence of the book's narrative.
