SC Wash & Tan is a combined laundromat and tanning salon chain located in Columbus, Ohio. The SC Wash & Tan unique concept is to offer the convenience of tanning while patrons wait for their laundry cycle to finish. The overall competency is to boost energy, improve physical appearance, and relax while also being productive.
The brands merging colors reflect energy, brightness, and vitality and are paired up with a very clean, rounded typography that gives it a fun and stylish look. The logo imagery is inspired by soap bubbles to represent "laundry" and sun rays to represent "tanning" and both are built using clean circles. My goal was to give the brand image a tactile quality that would make it feel both vivacious and cool.
