Bauertypes Corporate Identity

"Just do it". Everyone knows Nike's famous claim and everyone has also seen their famous typography everywhere. Futura is not just the voice of Nike but has highlighted the logo of prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Absolut Vodka, IKEA, Volkswagen or Red Bull among others.

Bauertypes is the successor of the Bauersche Giesserei representing the fourth generation of this centenary enterprise that in 1927 published Paul Renner's Futura. It has also been the only foundry capable of surviving the transition from lead to pixel thanks to the breakthrough and specialization in typographic advisory and consulting.

In order to
reposition the brand in 2015, a new impetus is given through a restyling. Futura is used as a central element finding in this way a direct and rejuvenated tone. Being capable of connecting with the younger generations, Bauertypes becomes a present and active actor in the new millennium. A powerful chromatic range and a prominent Futura provide a firm, confident and young character with which Bauer begins a very new stage.
