  • Bastard Bridge
Computer Program (written in Grasshopper for Rhino)
  • Water Lens
machined aluminum, water, latex condom, misc, screws & fasteners
The water lens uses a telescoping cylinder filled with water to change the curvature (and therefore the focal length) of the front lens element.
  • Runaway Motor
AC motor rotor, 1/4" steel plate, laser-cut wood, 12V battery, misc. wires/fasteners
This motor works differently from conventional electric motors. Its motion is linear- as the electromagnets are activated sequentially, the rotor is pulled forward and towards the steel plate. The result is a device that rolls across any substantial metal surface.
